To make-up for the two February snow days, Virginia Beach City Public Schools has extend the school day by 20 minutes. From March 1-April 30, school ends for students at 4:00 p.m. and all clubs and sports will meet until 5:45 p.m. each evening.
The library has new extended hours for parents and students until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays and peer tutoring is available at this time until 5:30 by the National Junior Honor Society. Students who are not with their parents will need a permission slip to attend.
